Boating, Beaches & Nightlife

Why choose The Keys? Yes we know there’s Miami and the east coast but it’s not the same vibe. What the Keys offers is the best of all worlds. Sarasota is no sleepy senior town anymore;  as the downtown continues to explode, so does the nightlife bars and clubs. St Pete’s is also a short boat ride away.

On top of this, you will also enjoy the laidback vibe of the gulf, with the best beaches in the United States, endless boating, fishing, premier golfing, polo, and nature preserves. As a bonus, the arts and cultural scene is well recognized and ever-expanding, along with a strong presence of indie restaurants and a foodie scene. There are more events and festivals than you can physically attend.

Whatever your mood, whatever your style, living on The Keys is one of the few places where you can truly have it all.

Live Your Best Life on The Keys

The Keys are part of the City of Sarasota, which has exploded in demand and popularity over the past few years. It is no longer a sleepy retirement village.

You can find endless properties with private boat docks, or leave your boat at the Marina for security when you’re away. Sarasota has everything you need to live the lifestyle you want. Let’s get you moving!

The Information You Need

You can look on a million websites about the average climate, local attractions, touristy things to do, and the beach vibe. That’s all well and good, but if you are thinking of moving or investing in The Keys, you need to know the real vibe and where you’ll enjoy most.

There are several Keys, all with their distinct vibe and personality. What they all have in common is an abundance of luxurious custom homes with private water access, lush foliage and gated, secure properties. You can sometimes find land or teardowns if you are itching to build your dream home; we can access our network to explore that option if that’s what you prefer.

Siesta Key

This is by far the most famous Key, known for the massive public Siesta beach, and it's unique white granite sand that never gets hot underfoot. It has been voted best beach in the entire United States. There is a wide mix of homes, from apartments, row houses, old Florida bungalows, and custom gated estates. Siesta is for those who like to get out and have fun. It has its own village full of iconic restaurants, bars and small shops. Siesta will have tourists almost all year long, and the mix of people is welcomed here. But rest assured, when you want to retreat to the privacy of your home, there are plenty of ideal options.

Bird Key

Bird Key is a tiny outpost of land in the bay right before you cross the Ringling bridge to Lido Key. It is comprised of luxurious homes, most of which have their own boat dock and the most beautiful unobstructed water views. Bird Key has its own Yacht Club and on the other side of John Ringling Causeway, you will find Bird Key Park. This location will appeal to you if you want the fastest car access to downtown Sarasota, to enjoy all that the city has to offer, day or night. There isn't much on Bird Key for tourists to do, so you will never have to fight through meandering crowds out your front door.

Longboat Key

Longboat Key has a reputation as a luxury Resort Community. Much of the population are snowbirds, who come down 6 months a year. The majority of the housing is high end condominiums which offer care-free living for those who are not permanent residents. The major activities are golfing at the Longboat Key Golf Club, as well as Tennis and boating at the Longboat Key Club. Longboat Key Club is also the Gulf Coast's largest deep water Marina. the 12 miles of white sand beaches are lined with luxury resorts and condos. Quick Point Nature Preserve and the Bayfront Park Rec. Center are great places to enjoy the outdoors. Longboat Key does have a small number of shops and fine dining establishments, so there is no need to leave the Key for day to day needs.

Anna Maria Island

Though not a Key but an Island, Anna Maria has its own unique vibe just like any of the Keys. The village is quirky and funky and very very laid back. Also quite popular with tourists, you will find many shops catering to them, such as equipment rentals, souvenir shops, and specialty food shops. There is still an "Old Florida" feeling here, as most of the streets are lined with cute homes on smaller lots. There are strict building and business regulations on the island, which is what helps to preserve its personality. You won't find new build custom estates or high rise buildings here, so it's the charm of the island that you will fall in love with. Anna Maria Island also has the Island Trolly; a free air conditioned ride from Coquina Beach in the South and loops all the way north to City Pier Park. Enjoy Coquina Beach, Cortez Beach, Holmes beach, Bean Point Beach, Manatee Beach, and Bayfront Park.
